I was honored and privileged to be able to present some of the work related to weather-related power outage prediction that I’ve contributed to at Battelle’s Conference on Innovations in Climate Resilience on March 29th (Agenda).
They had an excellent lineup of speakers and presenters, and it was great to be at conference where COVID-19 was becoming less and less of a concern.
Although the challenge before us is quite intimidating, there were a lot of dedicated people at this conference working hard on helping us develop new technologies that will help improve society’s ability to adapt to Climate Change. I certainly hope that empirical impact modeling can be part of that solution.
